As the Creative Lead, I had nine weeks to work with partnered Strategy and UX Leads, concepting what the next generation of Sunrun could look like. Our goal was to define a future vision that created expanded value, grew the business, and connected with customers in new ways.

The work was divided into three user journeys – each dedicated to a potential user base – existing customers, the larger homeowner community, and the (even larger) clean energy community. This first journey was themed around Home IoT as well as a singular ecosystem and marketplace that rewards a greener lifestyle.

The second journey was about guiding homeowners and correlating clean energy choices with the impact on their home value. How? Through a partner-led "Sustainability Utilization Number" otherwise known as a SUN Score – the new standard for measuring clean energy.  

For the third journey, we sought to push Sunrun to be a leader of the fuller clean energy community, especially by engaging and connecting with more-active, younger generations. Opportunities came through shared energy, currency, and investment platforms as well as a communal system of events, experiences, and activations.
