Marriott

Building a comprehensive digital ecosystem to support 30 Marriott Brands along with booking flows, third-party sites, a mobile application, and more. The massive undertaking required building a library of well over a hundred components and dozens of unique page designs. 

 

The Mobile app involved not just working through the user's booking journey, but how each of the 30 brands real-time incorporate their unique visual look and style. Dozens of micro A/B tests were tested to optimize brand identification and ease of use.

We were also tasked with incorporating greater brand identity and offerings throughout Marriott's primary booking flow and mobile application – a task that required testing hundreds of visual solutions. 

BOOKING FLOW

A standard site template was developed to be used for easy use by every brand's individual hotels. Designed to be extremely fluid and adaptable, this template is now is used by thousands of hotels.

The primary challenge was to consolidate Marriott's 30 brands onto just four unique, yet heavily versatile, web templates. Fairfield was one of the hotel groups that I managed the visual redesign for. The site required aligning Fairfield's brand visual system onto one of those four web templates.
